Andy O'Hara has written numerous articles, short stories and poems for publication. A veteran, he retired from the California Highway Patrol after almost 25 years.  Andy was then a medical worker and volunteered many years after his retirement, organizing programs and helping police agencies and officers deal with stress, trauma and PTSD in law enforcement.

After publication of his books, Andy wrote for a city newspaper, reporting local stories and writing editorials.

Andy now enjoys retirement in Sacramento, California with his partner and wife, Susan.
